I need a very light weight string trimmer. Can you recommend one?
I am a 53 year old female who has not mowed the lawn myself in over 17 years. I have trouble starting mowers with the pull cord, so I purchased an electric start lawn mower and that works great. I need to purchase a light weight string trimmer that does not have a pull start. I would prefer to not have an electric because of the cord, however, all the reviews say electric has more power than battery operated. I own my own home, and have a small amount of trimming to do. I only need to trim along my drive and sidewalk, landscaped area and a fence line. All trimming should take approx 20 minutes to finish. Anybody out there who has been in my situation and is happy with their purchase? I would appreciate your recommendation.
Yeah electric is good for a short distance, more cord used less power supplied though so use 100ft of cord or less. Good brand is craftsman or homelite.
