First lawn mow after winter. bag on or off? I don't think I have a mulching mower.?
It was a long harsh winter with many feet of snow and freezing temperatures. My lawn looks patchy in spots and I will fertilize & overseed but I want to know whether I should leave the bag on for the very first mow of the spring. Thanks.
I'd think it would be BAG ON in order to get rid of all that dead stuff, but I'm a lifelong Californian & things tend to grow differently out here in the West! Perhaps a neighbor who has a green thumb could advise you better!
